Calories in Indian Food

Serve-Indian-food-in-styl-060609This post is in response to a question I received recently from a reader, David Drake, on the calories in Indian food.

I managed to locate as much information on the calories in Indian food as i could. Unfortunately there is a lot of variation in the numbers i was seeing from site to site but i put together the most comprehensive list possible under the circumstances, and since these numbers aren’t set in stone, use them as a rough approximation. The calories will vary depending on how the food is prepared, as eating at home as opposed to a restaurant will probably be much healthier and contain lower calories.
